A Marquee Signing for the WSL Side The forward, with six months remaining on her deal, has been a prolific goal-getter for her club and the national team. Having scored more than 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for her country. This signing will be seen as a marquee signing for the Women’s Super League team. Her exit from Bayern has been anticipated since she appeared to be holding back emotions while thanking the club's fans following a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently. It was reported in late December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was losing one of its leading strikers. According to multiple sources, the formalities for the transfer are now finalised. Reliable Goal Threat to Strengthen the Attack The 28-year-old’s signing is expected to provide a major uplift to the team's forward line. Schüller has been remarkably consistent with her finishing in Germany’s top flight. Over seven straight seasons, up to and including the last term, she reached at least a double-figures tally of league goals. She claimed the Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season with 16 goals. Gathering Steam at Old Trafford Securing Schüller’s signature coincides with a period when United appear to be building momentum.
